Does your family wear matching PJs Christmas morning? I always match our girls and in year’s past I’ve bought Zach and myself coordinating pieces as well. Or maybe you host an annual gingerbread making or Christmas cookie decorating party and encourage everyone to dress comfy?… [read more]
In sharing Scottie’s bday party I thought it would also be fun to share gifts for the toddlers in your life. My girls and their boy friends love these items and they would not only make great birthday items but you could also scoop them… [read more]

Did you see my outfit post with Old Navy & People.com yesterday? Well here is a little look at what really went down behind the scenes. We actually pulled over on the way home and took the photos in a driveway while the girls were sitting in the car snacks in hand. That morning Katheryn and I went to Sky Top to take some photos of me and the girls as a present for Zach (sorry babe – spoiler alert). The plan was to take pictures of me in the outfit for my collaboration with Old Navy and knock out all the pictures at once but that didn’t really go as planned. Hey friends! I’m going to try something new on here and do a little Friday life / blog update. I’ve been wanting to do it via my email newsletter but Mailchimp is giving me headaches so I’m going to do it via a post. I feel like there is so much going on with my blog and I just want to keep you guys in the loop as well as get feedback about why you read this blog and what I can do to make it better. If you avidly read my blog, shop from my blog or keep up with my blog then make sure you plan on stopping by every Friday morning. You can see what has been happening around here lately as well as offer your feedback and suggestions! If you’re bad with visiting sites then just make sure to sign up to get posts via email or follow me on bloglovin and you will get the same content that way!
Summer is officially coming to a close and you might be gearing up for one last hooray at the beach. If you have toddlers or small children then let me help you out and make your packing list for you! And if you aren’t headed somewhere sunny this weekend then go ahead and pin this post and save it for next year! We recently went on our first week-long family vacation with both girls and their two cousins. I have taken the girls to the beach by myself before for small trips and we took Hayden last year when I was pregnant but this was the first time in the history of our parenting life that we were playing man on man defense for an entire week.
