Today I’m very excited to share a beauty line that I am absolutely loving. I first heard of Colleen Rothschild‘s products when I attended the RewardStyle conference earlier this year. Colleen Rothschild was one of the brands handing out samples and you know I’m all about a beauty sample! I bebopped myself over to chat and asked about 100 questions all about their luxury skincare line. I love this brand because it’s based in science, allows me to have spa-quality products at home and because it was birthed from the entrepreneurial spirit and beauty experience of Colleen Rothschild herself. As a female who owns her own business I love to support brands like these and as a beauty connoisseur I really just love these products!
I want to tell you a little bit about the items I have personally used but before I do I need to tell you that you can save 20% off of any full-priced item on Colleen Rothschild‘s site with code TSSG20. Feel free to browse through the site yourself because it’s incredibly easy to use. One thing I REALLY love is that you can shop by beauty routine including an AM Routine, PM Routine and a Bi-Weekly Routine. You can also shop by skincare concern including fine lines and wrinkles, pores and more!
Radiant Cleansing Balm – The first product I wanted to share with you is one I have been using for months now (don’t worry this is a new container so the photos would be prettier). I first started using cleansing balms to take off my makeup in an effort to not scrub my eyelashes and skin off. Now I use them because not only do they remove all of your eye and face makeup but they also travel effortlessly and leave your skin feeling so smooth. If you wanted to start by trying one product I would pick this one. It smells great, is easy to use and leaves your skin squeaky clean.
Extreme Recovery Cream – If you have very dry or dehydrated skin this then product will be your new obsession. It delivers intensive care for dry skin while evening out skin tone and texture. I use it if Im dehydrated from traveling, from too much sun exposure or when I just need a good boost of overnight hydration.
Sheer Renewal Cream – This is another product I got a sample of at the RewardStyle conference. It’s an oil-free moisturizer that provides hydration and (wait for it) promotes new cell turnover. Aka it helps your skin naturally regenerate itself while doubling as a barrier for environmental defense and giving you weightless and extremely smooth hydration. My skin is combination and can skew towards being oily so I am always careful with moisturizers. This one has an almost matte appearance and never leaves me feeling greasy.
Complete Eye Cream – I’m aware of the fact that I’m sounding like a broken record but these products really are that great! This eye cream is no exception. I LOVE this stuff. I have been slathering it on morning and night. It fights fine lines, reduces the appearance of under-eye circles and restores elasticity. I’m weird about eye creams and this one is really thick so you feel like you’re getting something done but it’s also really fluffy so it doesn’t feel cakey. I mean are you loving these technical descriptions or what???
Face Oil – So are you guys aware of face oils and how you can use them? Should I do an entire post on it? (Let me know in the comments below). Basically face oils are all of the rage these days and can be patted on your skin for extra hydration, mixed into certain foundations and concealers for illuminating coverage and this one can even be used on YOUR HAIR. That’s right. Your hair. This product combines 9 different oils which nourish thirsty skin and smooth fly-aways alike. I have a hard time with hair oils because I’m basically on a mission to have the biggest hair possible. Most serums just weigh down my strands but this oil isn’t greasy at all. The same for your skin. Intense hydration. No greasy residue. I am aware that totally sounds like an oxymoron but you’re just going to have to trust me. There is actual science behind it which you can read all about on their site but just take my word for it – moisture & smoothness with no grease. It’s miraculous.
Dual Enzyme Polish – This mask is perfect for a deep exfoliation and is pretty much an at-home spa treatment. Enzyme facials are very popular these days and for good reason. The top layer of your skin is mostly made of dead skin cells which contain keratin proteins. When certain enzymes are applied onto the skin they bread down those proteins which leaves you with smoother skin. That might sound harsh but it’s a good thing. After all who wants dead lizard-like skin sitting on your face? Not this girl. To use this product you apply the polish on your face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes which allows the enzymes time to get to work. After the 5-10 minutes you take it off in circular motions which polishes your skin and removes all those nasty dead cells.
Clarifying Detox Mask – This product is great on its own or in combination with the Dual Enzyme Polish. Once you have all those dead skin cells removed then you can really deep clean your pores. I’m going to do a post all about the wonders of charcoal but long story short charcoal is very porous and basically a magnet that binds impurities to itself. This detox mask is made of charcoal which draws impurities out of your pores, glycolic acid which helps increase cellular turnover and Vitamin C for antioxidants. It can be used on any type of skin 2-3 times a week. Can anyone say bubble bath + red wine + charcoal mask?
If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below and I will try to answer or get you the answer if I don’t know it.
