I know that this isn’t the most picture-perfect post for the first day of spring and you would much rather see a great pair of espadrilles and pretty dress. I’ll get to all of that tomorrow but I’ve been sitting on this post for awhile… [read more]
Jacket | Turtleneck | Jeans | Clutch | Shoes | Necklace | Bangles | Sunglasses Colorful coats are everywhere this winter! While I will always be partial to a trusty camel or black I really do love the muted pastels that are popping up in outerwear collections everywhere. This beautiful rose-colored coat from Buru is no exception. It’s soft, has pockets and is a great length. I’m wearing it with my new favorite turtleneck, black skinny jeans and my go-to leopard heels. It’s a tee so it’s lightweight and I love the longer length. I personally love to play it safe and wear neutrals with color. You can never go wrong with black, white or stripes. If you are interested in giving the colored coat trend a spin here are a couple of options for you!

Top: J.Crew | Cardigan: J.Crew | Jeans: Paige | Bag: Gigi New York | Necklace: Moon & Lola | Shoes: Frye So here is the thing about me as a “blogger”. I’m a blogger because I love sharing things with others. That doesn’t exactly mean that I love being the subject of photos but to be a great blogger you have to create great content and until the day I’m ruling the world and styling models I’m going to take one for the team and wear the clothes myself. Luckily for me one of my very best friends, Katheryn, just so happens to be a photographer and we live in the same tiny mountain town making it easy to get tother to document outfits.

A simple post for a simple outfit. Nothing elongates a frame quite like vertical stripes, black skinny jeans and nude shoes. Paired with my favorite aviators, a big block monogram and a neutral suede purse and this outfit is a great go-to when I have nothing to wear. You can leave the top untucked and wear with flats for a more casual look and then tuck in the front and throw on some heels for a dressier vibe. This top is currently on sale for $29 but I also linked up some similar styles below for your shopping pleasure.

If you’ve been keeping up with the blog I’ve been styling my favorite J.Crew Blazer three different ways for fall. Look one was with this top from Target (Similar here), jeans from Nordstrom, booties from Old Navy and Tory Burch bag. For look two I paired the blazer with a J.Crew chambray top, J.Crew leopard pumps and a Tory Burch crossbody. Look three is probably my favorite way to style a blazer… with a t-shirt of course! This tee is from Sundry and I love it! It’s sold out so I linked a ton of similar below. to complete the look I put it with my Rebecca Minkoff crossbody and Vince Camuto pumps which are on sale and under $60! I think this is a great outfit that you could wear around the office with flats and then throw on the pumps for evening.
